I've heard rumors of there being new albums from Aerosmith and Alice In Chains that are supposed to be released this year, can anyone confirm?
The Aerosmith album has been scrapped until next year as they've decided to do a summer tour with ZZ Top.
The AiC album has been rumored and has reportedly been done for a few weeks but nothing has been officially confirmed or announced yet.

I have the Canon Powershot SD750 and I recently went to a concert, and it was terrible for zooming in and taking photos. I was sitting really close too. Are there any cameras out there with a good zoom for taking photos at events like concerts, that aren't priced too highly?
Hey, it would depend on how much you're willing to spend, those point and shoot cameras may have high iso settings, and the pictures would come out real grainy on them. However, if you spended the money for a digital single lens reflex, which doesn't concoct much grain, you should be good to go. I have the canon powershot s3IS, and it was about three hundred dollars ( 300$ ), it is a little point and shoot camera. Being a " prosumer" point and shoot camera, it can do it all, manual controls and all, but it still can't easily take a steady pictures in a low light atmosphere like a concert. There won't be enough light for the lens to absorb. ( you know most concerts are real dark, with the exception of the spotlight), and it doens't matter how close you are.
If you're going to be going to concerts all of the time and you want to take good pictures, you should spend around four hundred- six hundred dollars, you pay for what you get for, and i guess you could say they can shoot in low-light.
You should consider the nikon p80 camera, it's a new product released from the nikon line, and is also a prosumer camera and had an eighteen times zoom range, which is six time better than on your sd750 camera. The zoom will let you get closer to the action: and here is the link :
http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-Coolpix-Digital-Vibration-Reduction/dp/B00176BDD4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1212755935&sr=1-1
But, if you want to spend some real money, you should get a digital single lens reflex camera, and be sure it'll take good pictures in low light situations you should consider
The Nikon d40 ( around 450$, with the lens)
the canon xti ( which is around 650$, with the lens)
The canon xt ( which is about the price of the d40)
the olympus e420 (around 577$, with the lens)
But it gets pretty expensive, and if you're only going to concerts once in a blue moon, it does't make since for you to make such an investment, just download the pictures from google images lol. However, if you're going to persue photography, you should make the investment
Regards
Nathan

I'm a huge Audioslave and sound garden fan and i'm thinking of buying chris's new solo CD. reviews please!
Also a HUGE Audioslave and Soundgarden fan. Just a Chris Cornell fan period. I have his cd on my ipod, I really like it and think it is definitely worth a listen if you are a true fan of his. It's very different from his previous work, but to me, it just shows how much he can evolve as an artist and how many different genres of music he can sing. I definitely reccomend it.
