but my learning curve n work flow are really bad with it.
I use Live rewired with FL.
Live is perfect automation+midi ctrl, FL for beats n accurate piano roll edits.

Yo mdl whats up, im jus wonderin if u could help me out, i have the mpk 49 and i use pro tools but i wanted ur opinion on cubase, does it work good wit your mpk 49 midi controller, i mainly use pro tools to record vocals, and use FL to make my beats but i have alot of vst’s and wanna put together my beats with my vocals instead of in FL, whats ur opinion n what would u perfer? Cubase etc…that works best for the mpk 49 midi?

I loved Cuebase, because you could switch in between your audio and midi really easy unlike protools where you had to bus in a midi track. But I just got PROTOOLS 8 and its amazing!
Its the same as cubase but better. It has killer plugins and I can take my session in to any studio now with out having to bounce down individual stems.

Yeah cause protools …
Yeah cause protools midi feature i tried it once and didnt suprise me..but now that i got cubase 5 its midi feature is awsome….only thing i say pro tools is good for making beats if your recording like sounds of motif of fantom or just live instruments in general

i really never used cubase so i couldn’t tell you,,but i do think cubase is better for makin beats than pro tools..i mean a lot of major producer’s use and people have more problems with pro tools midi feature
